Mares Prestige 15X Regulator – Features
- The modern and attractive new look of the Prestige 15X, features polished and satin-finished inserts on the front cover, with some truly remarkable innovations and improvements inside.
- The purge button is wider and easily depressible even when wearing thick gloves. More natural breathing is ensured at every depth by the VAD gas delivery system, a Mares patented design.
- The Prestige 15X second stage is noticeably light and compact due to the high-performance technopolymer construction; minimizing any chance of jaw fatigue even with extended diving.
- First and second stages are connected by the Superflex Hose. The Superflex hose is also light weight and extremely flexible, delivering the 2nd stage to the diver in the most ergonomic orientation possible, providing increased diving comfort.
- Prestige 15X is also available in the octopus configuration.
- For the style minded divers, we have developed a version in white. This should resonate well with those that have a little extra flare for fashion and panache.
- The Prestige 15X regulator has plenty to offer in the innovation segment as well. Noticeably improved, the first stage features pre-oriented (4)LP and (2)HP ports providing ergonomic hose routing possibilities.
- One of the latest developments at Mares is the new ACT valve (Advanced Coating Technology): (also used in our new top of the line Fusion 52X regulator) a newly engineered poppet covered with a special material providing 600% better durability than traditional valves.
- In addition, all the remaining internal components have been modified from the original to deliver advanced performance and maximum reliability. All wrapped up in a compact first stage that delivers both light weight and reliable operation without affecting performance.
