Description
DIRZone Orange 122cm DSMB Marker Buoy. It can be inflated using the divers regulator and the SMB’s duckbill one-way valve in the throat of the SMB. It can also be inflated by using a BCD inflator hose.
This compact DSMB has a low volume OPV (Over Pressurisation Valve). This makes it more compact when rolled up for carrying. The SMB is fitted with a stainless steel D’ring as well as a bungee loop to keep it neatly rolled when not in use.
The DSMB is 122cm long by 18cm and is in bright orange. Being only 122 cm long this DSMB is not ideally suited for offshore diving in larger swells where a longer bigger primary SMB might be better suited.
Remember all divers should carry an SMB and reel or spool on every dive and should, at a minimum, ascend under an SMB. Divers should regularly practice deploying their SMB so it become second nature when required urgently.
