Cressi Naxos Antifog Dive Mask – Don’t Let Its Size Fool You…
The Cressi Naxos Antifog Dive Mask may be compact, but it certainly still has a place on the podium.
Smaller than a traditional dive mask. The Naxos is also a great fit for freedivers, spearfishers, snorkellers, and everyone in between.
Although more compact, this mask provides a great field of vision with its large lenses and increased downward vision.
When it comes to versitility, Cressi have got the Naxos fine-tuned… With new internal ribs, this mask is designed to mould perfectly to almost every face.
Similarly to the Quantum mask, not only is it fashioned with increased downward vision, it is also designed to avoid the phenomenon of fogging. Cressi have created a system in which the mask thermoregulates warm, moist air escaping from the nose, and channels the air towards the rubber walls using a system of membranes in the mould – avoiding the lenses.
To add to the anti-fog concept, Cressi have featured two heat exchangers which act as a cooling system to regulate the temperature inside the mask, bringing it closer to the outside temperature.
Keep in mind: The lenses on Cressi’s Antifog masks are not chemically treated and should be treated the same as any new mask. When buying a new mask, you should always clean the lenses thoroughly – our personal favourite is Sea Buff. And don’t forget to always have a good spit into your lenses before you use your mask in the water!
